Our standard rate is $1.95 per pound with a 25 lb minimum per order — roughly one full laundry basket. That means the minimum you'll ever pay is $48.75. Detergent, softener, folding, and next-day delivery are all included. No hidden fees.

You don't need to guess we bring a digital scale to every pickup and weigh your laundry on the spot. As a general guide, one full laundry basket is about 20–30 lbs. If you're close to the 25 lb minimum, toss in a few extra towels or sheets and you're covered.

Yes ,same-day service is available for a flat $7 fee added to your order. Standard service includes free next-day return at no extra charge. Same-day availability depends on scheduling, so book early in the day to secure your slot.

An invoice is sent via email or text after pickup after your laundry has been weighed .

No. Pickup and next-day delivery are free on every order within our service area — Virginia Beach, Norfolk, and Chesapeake. The only additional fee is the $7 same-day fee if you need your laundry back the same day.

Yes — we have four plans designed for different households:

• Starter — 1 pickup/month · up to 40 lbs · $75/month

• Weekly Plan — 4 pickups/month · up to 30 lbs each · $310/month

• Biweekly Plan — 2 pickups/month · up to 45 lbs each · $195/month

• Fourth Trimester — weekly · up to 30 lbs · mom & baby · $65/week

All plans include detergent, folding, sorting, and free next-day delivery. Overage is billed at $1.95/lb.

Nothing is charged separately unless you add a specialty service like hand steaming, ironing, or hypoallergenic detergent.

Folding is included at no extra charge and done by default. If you prefer items returned unfolded or on hangers, just let us know at booking and we'll accommodate.

We provide detergent and softener free on every order. Standard options include Tide and Gain. We also offer Dr. Bronner's fragrance-free and hypoallergenic, scent-free detergent for sensitive skin or baby items — just request it at booking. Hypoallergenic detergent is included free in our Baby Ready and Fourth Trimester packages.

Yes. If you've already washed your laundry at home and just need it folded, we offer fold-only service at $1.95/lb with the same 25 lb minimum. We pick it up, fold everything neatly, and deliver it back next day.

Yes — both are available as add-on services. Hand steaming is ideal for delicate fabrics like silk, chiffon, and gowns. Ironing is available for everyday clothing, uniforms, household linens, and more. Prices start at $2 per item. Please mention at booking so we can plan accordingly. We do not offer dry cleaning.

Yes. If you have items that need to air dry instead of going in the dryer — delicates, activewear, specialty fabrics — just note it at booking and we'll handle them separately.

Book directly through our online scheduling system on the website. After booking, you'll receive a confirmation with your pickup window. Make sure your laundry is bagged and ready at pickup time.

Same-day service must be booked early in the day to allow turnaround time within business hours.

No. If you won't be home, leave your laundry in a secure, agreed-upon location — front porch, doorstep, or building lobby — and let us know in your booking notes. We'll return your clean laundry to the same spot. Your items are always handled with care.

No storefront we are 100% mobile. Balance Wash and Fold comes to you by appointment. Your laundry is picked up from your door, professionally cleaned, and returned to you. No driving, no waiting rooms, no drop-off lines.

Yes this is one of our most popular commercial services. We offer flat-rate turnover packages priced per bedroom: $35/room (includes fitted sheet, flat sheet, 2 pillowcases, and comforter) with a $70 trip minimum. Bath towel sets are $12 per bathroom. Pool and beach towels are $4 each. Same-day rush turnover is available for an additional $7. Pickup and delivery are always free.

Yes. We serve barbershops, salons, spas, gyms, medical offices, and more with weekly towel service starting at $30/week for up to 20 towels. Larger plans are available for higher volume. Detergent is always included. Contact us for a custom commercial quote.
